Hers Vermentino is Ryme’s love letter to Liguria, Italy’s mecca for coastal whites. It provides a counterpoint to “His,” their skin-fermented version. The grapes are sourced from the cool and foggy Las Brisas Vineyard on the Sonoma side of Carneros AVA, which is fully exposed to the marine influence of the San Pablo Bay. The wine is fermented in a combination of old neutral barrels and stainless steel and undergoes partial malolactic fermentation.
