A swirl of wild strawberries and heart-skipping energy — like viewing at a beautiful landscape from a car window.

Arabella made sake in Japan in her early twenties, and today her winemaking conveys an intensity of focus that seems inspired by this experience. Her husband Blair, a New Zealander who served as head winemaker at Shea Vineyards, shares her ascetic commitment to the craft. Lovingly farmed by Bill Holloran and certified biodynamic, La Chenaie is a magical-seeming vineyard located in the south-west corner of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA.
