Antiquum Pinot Noir - 2015

With its wild and savory aromas of coastal blackberries and pine forest, the Antiquum Pinot Noir was the first wine of Arabella and Blair’s we fell in love with. The vineyard is a high-elevation site perched in the coastal hills and drenched by the sun. It’s managed in a manner that predates 1940s agriculture (which, for those who don’t track these sorts of things, is when shit got weird). Needless to say, it’s organically and imaginatively farmed so as to promote abundant life, from insects to livestock, enabling species that enhance vine health to thrive.
